PKP- Products - Flow

Sight Flow Indicators

Flow indicators, also known as sight glasses, are used for visual and quantitative flow indication of liquids and gases. The flowing medium can be observed through a sight glass.

For particularly clear liquids or gases, the flow indicators/sight glasses are equipped with rotors, flaps or balls to make the flow visible.

We would be happy to advise you.

Variable Area Flowmeters

Flow meters based on the float principle are used for flow measurement, display and monitoring of a wide variety of liquids and gases. The flow rate can be read through built-in sight glasses with scales. Attached contacts switch reliably at the set switching points. All-metal devices, optionally with pointer display, are available for use at high pressures.

Paddle Type Flowmeters and Switches

The flow meters and monitors with impact disk, paddle or flap measure the flow of liquids and gases. The deflection of the paddle is proportional to the flow. Built-in contacts, microswitches and measuring sensors are available for further processing of the output signal. The variety of designs, materials and measuring ranges offer a wide range of applications.

Paddle/Oval Wheel, Nutating Disc, Turbine, and Gear Wheel Flowmeters

In the case of impeller and turbine flow meters, a moving wheel is driven by the flowing medium (low-viscosity liquids), thus generating a pulse/frequency output according to the flow. Downstream electronics can further process this signal into analog signals and/or switching points.

Electronic Flowmeters

Electronic flow meters include magnetic inductive, ultrasonic and calorimetric flow meters/thermal mass flow meters. In addition to the various analog outputs, frequency and pulse outputs and switching points are also available. The flow of liquids and gases is reliably measured with this group of devices.
