More informations
The PS40 series mechanical pressure switches convert fluid pressure into a mechanical movement that actuates a microswitch. This is done either by means of a diaphragm, which is deformed by the prevailing pressure, or by means of a piston, which is set in motion.
The diaphragm or the piston is subjected to a counterpressure via a helical spring, so the pretension of the helical spring and thus the switching point can be easily adjusted on site using an adjusting screw. This is done continuously over the entire adjustment range.
Typical applications
The mechanical pressure switches are used in all areas where a switching signal is required depending on specified pressure values. Due to their robust design, they are used in almost all manufacturing processes and industrial plants.
- Mobile and industrial hydraulics and pneumatics
- Test stand and apparatus engineering
- Heavy industry
- Shipbuilding
- Offshore
