| 11.07.1998 - New Gear Wheel Flowmeter |  | | | The new gear wheel flowmeter DV01 measures the flow of viscous, non-agressive media. The small dimensions and the extemely low price make this meter especially suitable for OEM applications.
Two interlocking gear wheels made of steel are mounted in an aluminium housing and are rotated by the flowing medium. The rotation of the gear wheels is picked up via a magnetoresistive sensor and given out as a frequency proportional to the flow rate.
The meters are available with ranges from 0.25...10 l/min, 0.16...16 l/min and 1...65 l/min as well as with accuracies between 0.3% to 3%.
The main applications are the measurement of oil consumption, lubrication monitoring, and control of dosing and batching applications.
The gear wheel flow meters DV01 have a relatively low pressure loss and emit very little noise.
